Donation of Critical Medicine

From the proceeds of the Silver Gala Ball in May 2022 and donations from generous donors, MCPPA Victoria purchased much needed medicine from India for Apeksha hospital (Sri Lanka), as advertised. Unfortunately, due to a mix up at the Medical Supplies Division of the Ministry of Health – Sri Lanka, the medicine has been distributed to District General Hospital in Embilipitiya. The Medical Supplies Division confirmed that the medicine was already in use at Embilipitiya hospital.

Even though MCPPA Victoria intended to deliver medicine to Apeksha hospital, we are grateful that the medicine has been delivered to a place where there was a need for the same medicine.

MCPPA Victoria is thankful to everyone who donated towards this project.

Further information and documentary proof is available for anyone upon request, as we cannot post bills and payment receipts on public platforms.
